Dispute and litigation pricing

We do not quote a flat price for disputes. The scope varies far too much—a flat price either overcharges you or hides costs that surface later. We look at the case first, then send a written, itemized quotation.

Official fees are set by the handling authority and passed on unchanged, with no markup; our service fee is quoted in writing, in advance, based on the case.

Why these cases have to be assessed first

One opposition may be “an obvious squatter, evidence ready to hand”; another may be “both sides have prior use, and reputation will have to be proved.” The workload can differ several times over. Sell both at the same price and only two things can happen: the simple case overpays, or the complex one gets a mid-case surcharge.

So before quoting we establish four things: the type of proceeding, what is in dispute, the state of the evidence and the time pressure. With those in view, the quotation lists official fees, our service fee and third-party costs separately—never bundled into one number.

Administrative proceedings and litigation in one engagement

The INTENOVA group includes Fujian Jingya Law Firm (福建精亚律师事务所). Administrative proceedings—oppositions, invalidations, non-use cancellations—are handled by the agency team; when a matter moves into litigation, the group's lawyers take over, and the file, the evidence and the understanding of the case do not change hands.

What this means for you: disputes often run on the administrative and judicial tracks in parallel, or one after the other. Completing both under one engagement saves you the cost of switching firms and explaining the case all over again—and the risk that lives in the gap between them.
