Basis for official fees: Applications filed online that accept electronic correspondence are charged at 90% of the standard rate. Authority: fee notices 计价格〔1995〕2404号, 发改价格〔2015〕2136号, 财税〔2017〕20号 and 发改价格〔2019〕914号, in force since 2019-07-01. Official fees are set by CNIPA in CNY; we pass them on as they are, with no markup. Why our service fee says “quoted case by case”: The scope of IP matters varies enormously—a flat price either overcharges you or hides costs that surface later. We look at the matter first, then send a written, itemized quotation, and we start work only once you have confirmed it. The quotation lists official fees, our service fee and third-party costs separately—never bundled into one number.
